As a special surprise for my birthday my parents bought me the new ipod i've wanted for forever. Now that I have my 80 gig classic I have no use for my three year old 20 gig. Thing is, I'm not sure what to do with it now. I'm asking around to see if any friends or family want it but noone really is interested. I looked into selling it but don't think I'd get enough for it to bother (it's not in great condition, I don't have the wall charger anymore, etc.) I could just sell it on ebay for five or ten bucks but I was really wondering if anyone knows of some sort of donation center for things like that. I think I'd rather have it go to a place that could use it than make ten bucks off of it (kind of like the groups that take old cell phones and give them to women's shelters - although now that I think about it, what exactly would an old ipod help with? lol) Anyone know of a group that does stuff like that? Just looking for options!!!

you can donate it to my youth group at my church, we have teens that use them all the time to download messages and music, and I know one of the teens doesn't have an ipod and would really appriciate it.
1Your local Goodwill will take almost anything and not only will some lucky underprivileged teen walk away with a great find but Goodwill also gives receipts so your donation will be tax deductible. Hope this helps!
2Church Youth Group - great idea ......women's shelters.......children's aid society.....
3We have a used bookstore here that takes stuff like that in trade - if you have one like that, you could trade it in for something else the store has. Ours is called Bookman's.
